Chicago Transit Authority has chosen Hadley’s L20R energy-efficient LED Interior Lighting System, to be installed in 100 New Flyer buses. The L20R meets American Public Transportation Association (APTA) specifications for providing evenly distributed illumination throughout the bus.
With the Hadley L20R, the LED color consistency is assured through “single binning”. Single binning eliminates multiple LED variations to benefit passengers with ergonomic lighting while also saving money for the Transit Authority by not having multiple “configurations” on their bus fleets. The full dimming capabilities adjust the brightness to the ambient light level, with fade on/off capability. The Hadley Team appreciates the confidence and support of New Flyer and CTA.
