Product Launch: Quad Control for Coach & Bus Mirrors

Attendees of the United Motorcoach Association (UMA) Expo ’13 were among the first to see and operate Hadley’s new Quad Control for mirrors. The Hadley Quad Control is Hadley’s first switch to allow full control of four (4) panes of glass, including heat function, all in one controller.
Hadley unveiled the Quad Controller to the Motorcoach industry along with their new Dual Control switch in a fully functional display at their booth #737 to demonstrate the features and ease of use.
Both the Hadley Quad and Hadley Dual Control units are fully electronic rather than electronic & mechanical. The elimination of a joystick and moving mechanical parts provides for a more durable, reliable switch and creates a streamlined look in an ergonomic control pad.
The new controls are dual voltage capable to accommodate 12v or 24v installation. This capability allows operators to include the Dual or Quad controller on any bus without concern of electronic compatibility.
With luxury and private motorcoaches becoming more customized for owners and operators, Hadley also offers the ability to include the mirror control as part of the customization with proprietary labeling.
The United Motorcoach Association (“UMA”) is North America’s largest association of professional bus and motorcoach companies. The 3-day UMA Expo took place on January 21 -23, 2013 at the Orange County Convention Center, Orlando, Florida.
